Rent Burgmans in Germany?

Hello - My wife and I are visiting Frankfurt May 4-14, 2009. Is it possible to rent Suzuki Burgmans in Germany? I ride a 650 and she rides a 400 in Virginia, USA. Danke,

Hi Dave,

Burgman's for rent in the Frankfurt area? Not that I know of. But maybe some of the Burgman drivers 'round Frankfurt have better news for you. Any way, I wish you and your wife a pleasent stay in Germany.

You could consider renting a "normal" bike, but thats only for half the fun.

welcome to our board. Hope you and your wife will have a great time in Germany.

I just checked for Suzuki-companies around Frankfurt, but it seems to be difficult to rent a Burgman 650 here. They explained they only offer bikes for rent, for example an Intruder C 800 for 89,- Euros per day or an Intruder C 1800 119,- Euros per day / 499,- Euros for 7 days.

Only scooter to rent I found on a first and fast check was a Piaggio MP3 LT (must be either 250cc or 400cc) in Bonn, which is about 100 km from Frankfurt.

I'm sure some other friends from the Frankfurt region will respond here during the next days. Maybe some of them will have a proper solution for you.

Are you planning to travel around here? Maybe you're interested to meet some german Burgman-drivers? I'm situated in the south of Germany, but will drive through the Frankfurt region at the 8th of May. Let us know, what else we could do for you.

This is an old thread, but there are now places all over Germany where you can rent a Burgman 650.

You don't have to be from Germany to rent one.

der eine bietet eigentlich nur BMW´s an, der andere hat vielleicht einen AN650 in Lübeck, Schongau, Altendiez (wo immer das auch ist) oder Bremervörde über SUZUKI-Händler.
So etwas kann man wohl kaum ausländischen Gästen anbieten, die nach Deutschland kommen...

Also Altendiez ist nicht so weit von Frankfurt /M entfernt!, und da kann man alle Burgmänner mieten!Scootervermietung, Scooter mieten

Finde ich schon nen Tip!Nur zu Spät für den Threaderöffner!
